The 117th Wensleydale Tournament Festival of Music & Speech
March 1st - 12th 2027

HOW TO ENTER........
1. CHOOSE YOUR CLASSES
With such a wide range of speech and music classes, there's something for everyone.
All classes are available on the website, or you can pick up a syllabus from Hewsons of Leyburn, from your local library, or from the Secretary (email secretary.wts@outlook.com).
Speech classes are divided into solo and group. Music classes are divided into solo instrumental, group instrumental, solo voice and group voices.
Please note that the time limit for each class is to enable us to create a reasonably accurate timetable. Your piece doesn't have to be that long, and the length makes no impact on the adjudicator's marks.
2. PLEASE READ THE RULES AND REGULATIONS!
3. FILL OUT THE ENTRY FORM
Here you will find the entry fees, an online form, most suitable for single entries, which will be sent directly to the Secretary; or you can download the full entry form, best for multiple entries. However you fill out your form, it should be sent to the Secretary (see above), and we will need a copy of your chosen piece/music as soon as possible.
For Junior Classes, we will need the age or year group of each child.
You will need the Class No. and Name (i.e. 45 Poem Own Composition Yr. 1).
The name of the piece/music and the author/composer.
If you can calculate how long your piece will be, that would be very helpful.
Put in the total amount of your entry fee. This can be paid by cash, cheque or bank transfer.
....AND THAT'S IT! PLEASE DON'T HESITATE TO CONTACT THE SECRETARY, JACKY, WHO IS ALWAYS AVAILABLE FOR HELP AND ADVICE. Tel. 07423532544
